Face It Partner In the News: Pam Darnall on Leadership Landscape

A native North Carolinian, Pam holds a degree in Psychology from Gardner-Webb Univ. & a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Spalding Univ.  In January 2014, Pam was named President/CEO of Family & Children’s Place. In her role, Pam is responsible for vision, leadership, & coordination of all the organizational activities.

From 1994-2008 Pam served as President of The Family Place. In 2008 Pam played an essential role to merge The Family Place & Family & Children First that created today’s Family & Children’s Place. Her prior experience includes 10 years with the Cab.  for Health and Family Services in a supervisory & training role for Child Protective Services.

Pam is a 2014 recipient of a Ldrship. Fellowship through the Comm. Found. of Lou.

& a 2013 graduate of Leadership Louisville & a 2003 Ldrship. Lou. Foundation’s Ldrship. Network & In 2011 Pam completed the Exec. Ldrship Inst. at the Univ. of Mich.

Pam has worked or served on prominent committees such as:-The Early Childhood Task Force-known as “Kids Now Quality Rating System”- the Ctr. for Non-Profit Excellence Advisory Committee-The Mayor’s Violence Free Neighborhood Advisory Com.-Lou. Metro Dept. of Publ Health Com.-the Wellness Perinatal- & Infant Health Advisory-Com.-Metro United Way Successful Children comm. & Youth Community Solutions Committees- & the Jeff. Co. Early Childhood Local Council.

She has even testified before state legislative committees-been a Mediator for Jeff. Co. Family Ct., & presented on various topics relating to child abuse & non-profits mergers.

In her free time, Pam is an avid marathon runner.  She is married to Danny Darnall, an attorney practicing in Elizabethtown, KY
