DESCRIPTION:Have you ever seen a caregiver or a child struggling in public and didn’t know what to do? Support Over Silence is an evidence-based program that gives bystanders a new way of supporting families without judgment or shame. \nMost people want to help\, but at times just don’t know how. Sometimes we don’t feel like it’s our business\, or we’re not sure if the situation is “bad enough” to say something. We all have a role to play in keeping children safe. Even a few words of support to a caregiver or child can mean a lot. \nJoin Support Over Silence for Kids and the Kosair For Kids Face It Movement for a bystander training that will prepare you to confidently provide support during a challenging moment between a caregiver and their child in public. The training consists of six interactive modules that teach the importance of this support and allows you to practice the skills needed to engage with caregivers and kids in a non-judgmental way.
