Stand Up benefits professionals\, parents and others interested in increasing their knowledge about sexual assault and/or interpersonal violence and emotional and/or behavioral disorders found in children. \n\nThere is no registration fee to attend the conference and there is no charge for continuing education credits.\nLunch will be provided.\nDoor prizes will be available.\nPlease notify Heather Greene or Renee Conn if you find you cannot attend after registration so that others can be registered after maximum capacity is reached.\n\nSeating is limited to 300. DESCRIPTION:This training will help you understand how to support children in learning how to positively interact with others\, self-regulating their behaviors\, and effectively communicating their feelings – all of which have positive impacts on their relationships with family members\, other adults\, and peers. Challenging behaviors or delayed development can create extra stress for families\, so early identification and support for both parents and the child are critical to keep children on track. It’s never easy to start these conversations\, and it can be hard to find the right resources. Join 4-C to discover some talking points\, local resources\, and more!
