SUMMARY:Training Preventing Child Sexual Abuse in Youth Serving Organizations through Risk Reduction Practices.
DESCRIPTION:Provided regionally by Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky. Programs providing services\, support and activities to children can also provide easy access for child sex offenders to groom potential victims. Summer camps\, athletics\, the faith community\, schools and more all have a duty to ensure children and youth they serve are safe while under their care.  This training will cover six critical components administrators\, staff and volunteers should know for ensuring safe environments. Topics will include recognizing and reporting child abuse\, strategies for screening and selecting employees/volunteers and steps for ensuring safe interactions between children and adults. All participants will walk away with an organizational planning tool.
