Indoor/Cold Weather Fun

Brrrr, it’s cold! With the cold temperatures lately, it can be hard to find things to do to keep kids happy while also allowing them the space to get out some of that pent up energy and excitement. Need ideas for fun indoor activities? This weekend is perfect for fun indoor activities that will keep kids warm, occupied, entertained, and make meaningful and lasting memories!



DIY Arts and Crafts

-Grab markers, glue, paint, paper, glitter, and any fun crafty odds and ends you have lying around and let the kids create their own masterpiece  
Games
-Break out some board games or even grab a deck of cards for some old fashioned fun
-Try some free online games that are sure to get your kiddo excited
-Remember hide and seek? See who can get the most creative with their hiding spots
-Test your skills with kid and family friendly puzzles
Baking and Cooking Activities
-Let your kids help in the kitchen with making a healthy meal, or for fun, one of these fun cakes
Get Up and Move
-Have a dance party! Put on a list of your family’s favorite music and dance it out!
