13 Feb Random Acts of Kindness
Random Acts of Kindness Day is Feb 17! Now, more than ever, we could all use a little kindness in our day – whether that means giving or receiving a simple act of kindness. Between work, school, and lingering pandemic challenges, people are under a lot of stress.
Today is a great day to reach out to parents, caregivers, kids, family members, neighbors, friends, and people in your community to show your support! With everything going on right now, the one thing you can control is how YOU treat others.
The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation has created 7 ideas for acts of kindness you can do with your child to help them grow confident in their abilities to impact the world around them. The work to create a kinder world never ends. There is no limit on the amount of goodness we can put into the world, but we need your help! Help #MakeKindnesstheNorm!
Here are some other fun activities you can do each day of Random Acts of Kindness Week:
Feb: 14 Give a Gift Card
Give an envelope with a gift card to a locally-owned tea/coffee shop to a friend with a note inviting them to take some relaxing time.
Feb 15: Be A Kid Again
Remember how proud you were of something you did as a child and do it again!
Feb 16: Write A Letter
Take 5 minutes to write a letter or card and mail it to someone who isn’t expecting it. Put a stamp on it and mail it. (Don’t text. Don’t email)
