National Play with Dad Day is coming up on November 25th! This day is dedicated to encouraging fathers to take a more active role in their children’s lives and spend the day connecting with their children in various activities. This is the day for you to plan some fun activities or adventures with your children (or you can let the children do the planning, they are full of great ideas). Whatever the day holds, enjoy the moment and give your children some extra love on this special holiday. 

Here are some fun activities you can try today:

Take a walk in your neighborhood
Build a fort in your living room
Have a movie night 
Act silly together (make silly faces, tell jokes, or anything else that comes to mind)
Take a family drive
Make a fun meal together
Play in the rain
Build a city with your kids using Legos or some other building blocks
Play a board game
Build an indoor obstacle course for your kids with items you have lying around your home
Play games in the hallway, such as crab-walk races, green light/red light and leapfrog
Play or watch your favorite sports
Host a dance party with some of your kids’ favorite songs
Give your dog a bath
Cuddle up with a pile of their favorite books to read together
