06 May That’s a Wrap on Child Abuse Prevention Month 2026
This Child Abuse Prevention Month, partners around Kentucky joined together to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect, find ways to strengthen our community’s role in keeping kids safe, and empower parents and caregivers. As Child Abuse Prevention Month comes to a close, it’s important to remember that prevention efforts must go well beyond April. Each of us has a role to play in building strong communities and supporting parents and caregivers to create safe environments for kids.
In the efforts to end child abuse and neglect, knowledge is our best tool. Throughout the month, Face It connected with partners and sharing ways we can all work to keep kids safe. We’re proud to partner with organizations, communities, and individuals across the Commonwealth to reaffirm our shared commitment to ensuring every child in Kentucky has a safe, happy, and healthy childhood.
