For 20 years, advocates for kids have gathered in Frankfort for Children’s Advocacy Day to fill the halls of the Capitol and ask their elected officials to step up for all Kentucky kids. The critical mass of advocates and youth in the Capitol building has led to many policy wins and raising awareness of issues facing kids and their families. As we’ve transitioned to Children’s Advocacy Week, there are even more opportunities to connect with legislators and other advocates during the state legislative session. Children’s Advocacy Week 2024 will be January 22-26th with the Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, January 24th! Learn more and register: kyyouth.org/childrens-advocacy-week/
