Colleen Clines’ Applying Design and Business to a World in Need

On a fateful trip to India, Colleen and her sister Maggie had the novel idea to use design thinking to create jobs, products, and services to help women escape the sex trafficking trade. Colleen will share the realities of sex trafficking and how Anchal, a nonprofit social enterprise, uses design and business to create successful outcomes for survivors of exploitation in India and Kentucky.

Colleen Clines is Co-founder and CEO of Anchal. A shortlist of her recognitions include: Public Interest’s Design Top Global 100 Designers, Louisville Business First’s Forty Under 40 List and NAWBO Humanitarian Award.
