Face It – Curiosity Club

The Kosair for Kids Face It Movement is hosting the next Curiosity Club meeting on Wednesday, April 24th at 2:00pm. The Curiosity Club is open to anyone interested in learning more about issues related to child maltreatment; discussing the latest research, data findings, and ways to apply what’s been learned to your work; and networking with like-minded people.
Join us as Dr. Melissa Currie presents and leads a discussion on the challenges in court with prosecuting pediatric abusive head trauma cases.

Melissa Currie, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified child abuse pediatrician, the Kosair for Kids Professor and Endowed Chair for Pediatric Forensic Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, the Medical Director and Chief of Norton Children’s Pediatric Protection Specialists, and a founding member of the Face It Movement.
