Face It Curiosity Club – Concrete Supports with Chapin Hall
The Kosair for Kids Face It Movement invites you to our next Curiosity Club meeting on Thursday, May 15 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST. This is a space for learning, discussion, and action on critical issues related to child maltreatment.
We’ll be joined by Clare Anderson, a Senior Policy Fellow at Chapin Hall and a leading expert in the field, who will present research on the utility of economic and concrete supports in reducing child maltreatment. This is a great opportunity to:
— Learn more about the persistent association between economic hardships and child maltreatment, as well as the favorable evidence around meeting family’s basic needs as an effective prevention method.
— Discuss actionable strategies to improve well-being, leverage supports, and effectively navigate challenges.
— Connect with professionals across different sectors and communities.
Date: Thursday, May 15 | Time: 12:00-1:00 PM EST | Location: Zoom
