Face It Curiosity Club – Educator Sexual Misconduct

The Kosair for Kids Face It Movement invites you to our next Curiosity Club,  a space for learning, discussion, and action on critical issues related to child maltreatment. This event’s focus is on Educator Sexual Misconduct and will take place on Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 AM ET/10:00 AM CT.

Join us as Kotomi Yokokura, advocate and graduate student at the Brown School at WashU, discusses findings from her study on how technology has been used to facilitate sexual misconduct in Kentucky schools. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the characteristics of and tactics used by educators whose licenses were suspended, surrendered, or revoked, and discuss actionable strategies and recommendations to prevent educator sexual misconduct in the future.
