OVEC Head Start/Early Head Start – Jefferson County Fall Festival
Jefferson County Fall Festival
presented by Ohio Valley Early Childcare Head Start/Early Head Start
Topics include Conscious Connections, Parental Resilience, and Face It Kentucky’s Ten 4 Bruising Campaign.
You and your family will get to enjoy a meal, pick a pumpkin together, and visit our community booths.
5:00 pm – arrival and welcome
5:30-6:00 pm – presentation by OVEC Behavior Intervention
Specialist: Connections (Conscious Discipline) and
Parental Resilience (THRIVE)
6:00-7:00 pm – families will be able to rotate around to visit several booths which will include OVEC community partners. One booth will be designated to share information about 10-4 and pass out THRIVE materials.
A table will be set up with to make-and-take materials that relate specifically to the Conscious Discipline/THRIVE presentation (I Love You Rituals Bear) Families will also have the opportunity to participate in a pumpkin picking experience as part of the Fall Festival theme. Dinner will be provided for all attendees.
