March 27 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Peace Hospital is inviting you to a FREE in-person event!
Fostering Emotional Regulation in Children and Youth
Being a foster parent is hard. Many kids today struggle to regulate their emotions, leading to behavior outbursts that have a negative impact on the child’s relationships at home, school and with peers. Children in foster care have additional barriers that may make it difficult for them to regulate their emotions in effective ways. Attend this educational seminar to learn how emotional regulation develops and how caregivers can assist the youth in their care in developing healthy ways of expressing emotions. There will be time for questions and answers.
