Peace for Parents Seminars: Helping Children Grieve

What is grief? What are some common reactions to grief? What are some myths about grief? Do children grieve differently than adults? What are some actions that I can take to help myself and my family cope with feelings of grief after a loss or transition? Attend this educational seminar for answers to these questions and more.

Lisa Prewitt has a Master’s in counseling from the University of Louisville and has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. She is also a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist.
