April is Child Abuse Awareness month and this training will focus on understanding and recognizing the signs of child abuse and neglect, including Shaken Baby Syndrome. Providers will learn what actions are required of them when reporting suspected abuse and discuss prevention strategies when working with at-risk families.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Kosair for Kids Face It Movement.
