Steam Exchange Community Arts Center Inc. – Community Meal

Join us for a Community Meal (hosted by Steam Exchange students) at the Grassy Lot on the corner of Clay and Finzer (Louisville, KY 40203).

Steam Exchange’s Youth Vision Committee (YVC) is a group of Steam Exchange students who have the interest and drive to become role models in their community. Over the summer, they selected a social justice topic that they want to address: food justice. For the first phase of their project (this Fall) the students are planning a free community meal for the Smoketown Neighborhood. Steam Exchange’s YVC will plan a menu and cook food for the event. Through flyers, by talking to family, friends, and neighbors, and by connecting with leaders of other Smoketown based organizations, our youth hope to get the families of Smoketown together for a meal!
