Teen Leaders for Diversity Day Camp
Tuesday, July 9 – Thursday, July 11, 10 am – 3 pm
The work of the National Coalition Building Institute is the foundation of our diversity workshops for 9th – 12th graders. Teens explore and deepen the basic skills of affirmation, communication, cooperation and problem solving. They learn together how to celebrate their similarities and differences, understand stereotypes and interrupt prejudicial acts, remarks and slurs.
Participants must be ready and willing to interact in small groups. The $60 fee covers lunch and snacks. Some scholarships are available. Email any questions to lead trainer Janene
here. Registration and permission forms available
here.
