Skill Building at Home: Peace Ed’s Video Lessons

October 1, 2020

Peace Education is providing tools and perspectives that help youth build the skills they need to thrive even under the added stress from COVID-19 and the demonstrations against police violence.
Visit Peace Ed’s Video Lessons page on their website for videos that can be accessed by anyone, anytime, anywhere with internet access. The page features two four-part sets of basic conflict resolution lessons (with a third on the way) as well as helpful shorts about using I Messages, remembering that when our emotions are high, our thinking is low, and on how our brains work under stress.
*There is no set date, videos can be accessed at any time*

The Peace Education Program strengthens communities and schools by training youth and adults to build and sustain positive relationships.
We do this by providing learning experiences to reduce violence, enhance personal integrity, and foster mutual respect.
We teach Conflict Resolution, Peer Mediation, Prejudice Reduction, and Team Work.
